Our mission is to foster collaboration on environmental issues unique to rural areas. We do this by supporting nonprofits, local governments, private businesses, and community groups invested in the future resilience and sustainability of their communities.
Our work is backed by globally accepted science and expertise in climate change adaptation. Our process is driven by a spirit of inclusion and valuing all perspectives.

Full-cycle risk assessment with resilience/adaptation strategy development following national and international best practices. Scientific and technical support for comprehensive and hazard mitigation planning.

Development and delivery of community education on scientific or social topics; communications strategy and development. Development and implementation of Public Participation Plans for comprehensive and hazard mitigation planning.

Development and advocacy of policies that advance community resilience strategies and consider implications and equity for all constituencies.

Primary and secondary research on climate impact drivers and other community issues; climate data downscaling and analysis.
